Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge
August 5:
This would be a day of recovery. We woke up sometime between 9:00 and 10:00. It turned out that this was a lodge mostly for Princess cruise guests, an alternative to the Denali Princess, a resort for cruise fanatics on steroids. The rooms were adequate for cruise veterans. A path behind the main lodge featured a magnificent view of Mt. McKinley.
The resort featured walking trails and attractions for the cruisers. Best of all, the views of Mt. McKinley were numerous and fabulous:
The resort also included several restaurants for pricey and average budgets. Barbara and I had muffins, fruit, O.J. and coffee for a late breakfast. This day was for R & R and incredible views of Mt. McKinley:
