We kicked off the New Year with friends in Paradise...
...and checked out the New Year's plunge at Sycamore Pool in Chico...
Paradise hadn't seen much snow, so we drove to Mount Lassen to check it out:
Soon after, California weather went crazy. We read the news and saw the pictures of the monstrous waves destroying our favorite beach spot, Seacliff Beach. I was so shocked by the destruction, I decided to put together memories, pictures and a short history of the beach, the pier, and the cement ship, Palo Alto.
