Mom’s life, like most of ours, is like a roller coaster, full of ups and downs, adventures and disappointments, triumphs and tragedies. Here you see the Cyclone Racer, a dual-track, racing wooden roller coaster. It was part of the Pike, an amusement park in Long Beach, California, near Mom’s first home. She rode it many times as we shall see.
