Jason and Maggie let Carson spend a few days with us in early August.
So we visited the Gold Bug Mine in Placerville, then went gold panning on the American River...
...checked out the animals at the Folsom Zoo, visited the Train Museum in Old Sacramento...
...and dug in the playground sand for dinosaur bones, and made Leggo creations.
A week or so later, Ellen & Arnie along with Austin and Ashley visited.
Jennifer and Maggie and their families joined the action.
What a great way to spend a day in August.
