CHRISTMAS SEASON 2013 CONTINUES
The Christmas season continued with a journey to Ventura to visit the Acevedo family.
Christmas excitement was in the air and in the hearts of all.
Ashley and Alex made play dough stuff while Austin beat Grandpa in checkers:
The next day the Acevedo family joined us on our journey to Camarillo where Steve put together a special celebration for family and high school football buddies and their families. Steve was the chef at the outstanding barbecue.
Traveling further south, we stopped in Malibu to tour the Adamson House which featured classic Malibu ceramics, the remains of a scenic Spanish land grant, and the most spectacular State Park bathroom view of the coast in California. Later on, we met Rachel in Playa Vista for dinner, then drove further south to San Diego.
The next adventure was a visit to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
The close-up views of so many different wild animals was a real treat.
Our journey ended the following day with lunch at George's in LaJolla
and a trip from Coronado to San Diego on the local ferry
