The month began with the annual Knights of Columbus Dinner
At the end of the program Barbara won the 50/50 raffle for $500. When I announced the winner, I was at a loss for words and wasn't sure what to do. We decided to donate some of the winnings to the Intellectually Disabled programs and some to help with the production costs.
Later on, Barbara along with all the wives of the Knights, received a rose:
A few days later we travelled south to celebrate Arnie's 50th birthday and Milan's 60th. When we reached Ventura, we discovered that Arnie and Austin were sick with colds, but Ellen shared a picture of Arnie with his family celebrating his 50th a few days earlier.
Before celebrating with Milan, we visited Ventura harbor for lunch with Ellen, Ashley and Alex, then went in search of a few Halloween pumpkins:
