St. Isidore Farewell 2004

Our friends at St. Isidore Parish bid us farewell as we finished our final project, raising funds for the new parish hall. Now we were off to new adventures in Sacramento and beyond. (Text and pictures from: www.stisidore-yubacity.org)

Goodbye Jim & Barbara Collins

After 30+ years of serving our parish community in pursuit of our mutual spiritual and temporal needs, Jim and Barbara Collins have moved to Sacramento to be closer to children and grandchildren. Our tremendous loss is a tremendous gain for their new parish! A few gathered on May 28, 2004 to say goodbye. Below are some informal pictures of Jim & Barbara as we quickly caught them as they set out on their journey.

May God continue to be with you

Jim and Barbara Collins.

You have always given with all your heart
Time, treasure and talent was just the start...

With great appreciation for all you do
Teaching your faith and living it too...

The Collins name should be etched in gold... With appreciation from our St. Isidore fold...

You've been a pillar at St. Isidore...Always volunteering to do even more...

From Catechist to Capital Campaign...
Your family has truly served in God's name...

The gifts you have you shared with all
No matter the task - you answered the call...

Your volunteer efforts within our community
Have strengthened us with unity...

Being in community and Bible studies too,
We'll never have neighbors as inspirational as you...

We are very sad to see you move away
But in our hearts, treasured you'll always stay...

After approaching your brand new shore
Please don't forget us at St. Isidore...

From all your friends in the parish
A gift of love we hope you cherish...

We wish you the very best and may God bless you in your new home.
