THANKSGIVING
Rachel prepared her special potato dish
and Jeff brought an apple pie to go with Maggie's cupcakes and pie
Meanwhile, Carson helped Barbara and me in the kitchen...
while everyone relaxed, watched football, and visited.
After dinner we had time to celebrate my birthday and to play some blackjack.
After Thanksgiving, Barbara and I were back to our regular Wednesday routine
serving hot lunch to those in need at the Parish hall. The second and third grade students
from the local charter school sang Christmas carols to entertain our guests.
A few days later we took a short trip to Eureka
for lunch on the waterfront and some sight seeing.
