Easter in Georgetown
Sienna checks out the chocolates before the Easter egg hunt.
Then she joins Mom for a head start before the bigger kids join in. As she carefully places each egg in her basket and says, "Thank you", her brother, sister, and cousin come charging full speed.
Wyatt leads the charge grabbing one Easter egg while looking for the next...
...while Helena searches an old wheel and trees for treasures...
...Carson is stalled when he loses his shoe but is quick to join the frantic search.
With bucket half-full he enjoys some of the treasures...
...then rejoins the hunt, until disaster strikes, but Mom and Dad are there to refill the bucket...then all is well with a full bucket...
...and all is well for cousins Wyatt, Helena, and Sienna...
Back inside there's time to play, to try some great broccoli...
...and to carve the Easter ham...
...then it's time to play outside with Dad and to go fishing...
It was a day of great contentment.
Picnic in Chico
Mikayla and Tori rode the bridge at Five Mile Recreation Area on Chico Creek
Tori played soccer and T-ball with Grandpa Jim...
...while Joe barbecued...Shane and Grandma Barbara relaxed in the sun...and Mikayla sampled the hot dogs...
...then it was time to wade in Chico Creek...
... soon Jeff and Joe joined the trip up and down the creek...
...then Mikayla jumped in and took her first swim of the season while Tori watched...
...then it was time for a final snack and some rest under the shady trees.
