From Highway 50 at Placerville, take the Highway 49 turnoff to Coloma and Auburn. Stay on Highway 49 to the Highway 193 turnoff (right). Continue on Highway 193 until you reach Georgetown. Turn right at the stop sign (Main Street). Stay on this street for 2.3 miles until you reach Fox Run Rd. (left). Follow Fox Run Road to the end (.6 miles) where you will see the gates to the Carmelite Monastery.

From Highway 80 at Auburn, take the Highway 49 turnoff to Coloma and Placerville. Stay on Highway 49 to the Highway 193 turnoff (left) at Cool. Continue on Highway 193 until you reach Georgetown. Turn left at the stop sign (Main Street). Stay on this street for 2.3 miles until you reach Fox Run Rd. (left). Follow Fox Run Road to the end (.6 miles) where you will see the gates to the Carmelite Monastery.
