CASINO CANYON

Down the Colorado River from the Grand Canyon we found Hoover Dam.
After seeing it from outside, including the new bypass bridge under construction...
...we took the short tour inside and learned about how the water flows and the generators produce electricity...
...after the guide explained the diagram...
...we took one last look and headed for Las Vegas, about 45 minutes away...
...where we stopped at the Venetian and had a sumptuous lunch at Zefferino's...
...followed by a gondola ride complete with wonderful arias...
...then it was back to the airport past all the casinos...
...and Bellagio's water spectacle...
...and more casinos...
Now our canyon tour was complete.
