CARSON VISIT 2005
2005 began with my first visit to see Carson. Jeff drove Mom and me through the snow from Reno to Sacramento. I had finally been released from physical therapy for my ski injuries and was anxious to meet our new grandson. I was still in a wheelchair during our first visit. Barbara held Carson while I shook hands using my uninjured right arm. On our second visit, I could use both arms and entertain Carson with the reflection and movements of my cane.
A few months later we joined Jason and Maggie for Carson's baptism. Ellen and Arnie volunteered to be his Godparents. Our Deacon friend, Eldon Vignery, performed the Baptism while we prayed, took pictures, and celebrated:
