Blessing and Reception
Our Pastor, Fr. Martin Ramat, blessed our marriage after 50 years:
Then it was time to celebrate at a reception brunch at Alemandra Winery in Durham. All we had to do was show up. Our six children and spouses and grandkids made all the preparations. Helena's class in flower arranging paid off as she joined Veronica and Maggie in preparing floral arrangements:
We saw Mikayla's Jeep in the parking lot, so we knew she had arrived with Tori. The anniversary cake was on display with flower decorations in front of a huge copper kettle.
Barbara and I posed as we recalled our wedding 50 years ago:
After getting a close-up of the anniversary cake, we gathered the wedding party. Our flower girl, Monica, posed with Barbara's maid of honor, Bev, bridesmaid, Colette, Barbara and me, my Best Man, Mike, and our ring bearer, Sean:
