20. Oacoma to Miles City, Montana
Friday, August 1
Friday morning we left Family Land RV Park in Oacoma to travel
to Miles City, Montana for my nephew Ged's wedding. The South
Dakota landscape changed from corn field to the hills and rock formations
of the Badlands. Scores of motorcycles raced around us as we grew closer
to Mount Rushmore. After spending time at the visitor's center and hiking
around the base of the Presidents' sculptures, we left the motorcycles
behind and headed north to Montana. A beautiful sunset welcomed us
as we pulled into the Miles City KOA to rest up for Saturday's wedding.
